The hotel is located in the heart of Renaissance Florence, in the Rione of Filippo Brunelleschi.

The hotel is unique in Florence for its structure, which is composed of a modern building connected to a Byzantine tower, a semicircular building called the Pagliazza Tower, which is the nucleus of the Hotel Brunelleschi. Its origins go back to the 6th century.

The lobby is large, with the floors decorated in a special kind of polished stone named 'Pietra Serena', with brickwork walls. Its soft lighting gives a warm and cosy feel. On the left side of the lobby there is a reading area and a corridor that leads to the restaurant.

The hotel is perfect for a quite and romantic stay. Early booking is advised, as this hotel is nearly always full. This is a very important historical building, the Towers museum houses the artifacts that came to light during restoration, and there is a calidarium of Roman origin set in the Tower’s foundations. 04/07 A.DP.
